Hey, I’m Jackie!
This is my 14-year relationship with weight loss in 2 minutes:
14 years ago, I was 65 lbs overweight. I was counting every calorie, my metabolism was wrecked, and I did 60 min of cardio rain or shine. I tried every diet under the sun to lose weight but NOTHING was working. I was diagnosed as pre-diabetic, obese with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, and hated my body. I knew I had to make a permanent change. I was sick of tracking calories/points/macros so I said f*ck them and finally started to learn what worked best for MY body.
I finally started to listen to my body and realized I had been doing this all wrong. It wasn’t just about calories in calories out. It was about mindful eating, tailored nutrition, balanced blood sugar, regulated hormones, and
so much more. Once I figured out *how* my body actually worked, everything clicked. I was no longer preoccupied with food. I didn’t stress out over dinners, drinking, or vacations. I could finally just live my life knowing I had total and *healthy* control of my body and my health because I was finally working with it, not against it. Food wasn’t controlling me anymore.
Fast forward to today, I’m your Mindful Nutritionist, Weight Loss Dietitian, and Mindful Eating Coach that’s helped 500+ women permanently lose weight while healing their relationship with food and their bodies. Is this another strict diet like Keto, Paleo, or Whole30?
HELL NO! There is no “counting” in this program or “good” or “bad” foods. We focus on mindful eating and swaps. We help you figure out what foods work best for YOUR body and replace some of the foods that make you feel like crap and gain weight. AKA we ADD nutrition, not take away. You’ll eat the same foods your friends and family eat so you won’t have to eat bland boring rabbit food.
Can I go at my own pace?
YES! No need to wait for each module to drop! You’ll have access to all the program materials and resources forever!
How is this different from other “diet” or “weight loss” programs?
Well, for one – it’s not a diet plan. It’s a long-term, sustainable, easy approach to nutrition and weight loss that’s tailored to your body. One that doesn’t require any sacrifices, calorie counters or ridiculous amounts of plain veggies. You’ll be fueling your body with real, nutritious food to rev up your metabolism instead of cutting things out short-term to drop the pounds. How much weight can I expect to lose?
Remember weight loss is highly individualized so results vary based on your body and of course effort. However, we typically see a 3-5 lb weight loss per month, depending on your start weight. We’ve had ladies lose anywhere from 10-15 lbs all the way to 80+ lbs!
IMPORTANT NOTE: This isn’t only about weight. We measure MORE than just the scale and care more about your health and how you FEEL. You’ll be eating enough to maintain muscle, so we focus on NSV (non-scale victories) more than anything. (Take progress pics and track those inches!)
I’ve tried so many diets in the past. I’m worried this one won’t work.
I hear this! When we’ve struggled with our weight for so long, we can’t just go to any old weight loss specialist for a “diet plan.” The whole “eat less, move move” simply doesn’t work for us!
